Lime

Mainly grown in Southeast Asia, in Mexico, in Latin America and the Caribbean, lime prefers the climate of the tropics. This variety, different from the rest of the "citrus", has small fruits, oval or round, which are harvested while still green due to their greater juiciness. The light green leaves are reminiscent of those of the Mandarin, they are oval with a rounded base and flowers, and 2 a 7, they are found at the base of the leaf gathered in cluster inflorescences.
